How long have you been doing CrossFit?

I started CrossFit about 6 years ago when my wife signed me up for a Fundamentals Class that I knew nothing about until the day of.

What is something about yourself you would like to share?

I am a United States Marine. I served 22 years before retiring in 2014

What was your first CrossFit workout and how did you do?

I don’t remember, but I’m sure It was awful

What’s your athletic background? Did you play any sports growing up?

I played football, baseball and basketball growing up

What inspires you as a coach – why do you do it?

I really enjoy seeing athetes do things hey think they’re not capable off.  It’s awesome to see

What are your favorite and least favorite CrossFit movements?

Clean and Jerk is my favorite. Hate thrusters and Muscle ups.

What is one piece of advice you would offer to someone new to CrossFit?

Give it 3 weeks!   You’re too sore the first two weeks to like it.  Then it starts to get fun.

What is your favorite thing about CrossFit (community, challenging workouts, friends, etc?)

How everyone, no matter their background come together and lift each other up!!
